Sociologist


 

Claudia Petrescu is a sociologist, holding a PhD in Sociology at the University of Bucharest. She has experience in social research for more then 10 years in different areas such as education, local development, social services, social economy and quality of life.  She has extensive experience in research design, quantitative and qualitative data analysis and elaborating research reports. She is working  as expert in national or international projects.

Since 2003 she was involved in research programmes for studying different areas of the local development process – community stakeholders participation, local entrepreneurship, social services, public-private partnership, association and cooperation between local actors, social inclusion, vulnerable groups employment, education etc.

Since 2009, she has worked as social expert in various urban development projects for municipalities/regions in Romania such as: Social services development strategy in Bucharest, Regional Master Plan for South East Region for 2014-2020, Urban Integrated Project Methodological Guide, Alba Iulia Fortress Urban Plan, Cluj Napoca Metropolitan Area Development Strategy for 2016 -2020 or Urban Social Atlas.

In URBASOFIA, she worked in the projects "Experience for Efficiency - Regional Partnership for quality employment services" and Cluj Napoca Metropolitan Area Development Strategy for 2016 -2020.

                                                                                                                                                                                                               

Alexandra Emilia Ioana

Assistant Manager


 With a degree in management and administration, Emilia is our back-office which keeps things running smoothly, accomplishing organizational issues which arise within different projects. She is also responsible for the internal management, assisting the Executive Director and the General Manager in various tasks, as well as the other employees to perform their job duties properly.

 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Matei Cocheci

Content Manager | Urban and regional planner | Planning and Design


 

Urban and regional planner, Teaching Assistant at „Ion Mincu” Architecture and Urbanism University, holding a Masters Degree in Spatial Planning and Regional Development and Integrated Environmental Assessment, he is specialized in environmental sciences, strategic urban and territorial planning. Matei is involved in various spatial planning projects and the author of articles and book chapters on topics mainly related to environmental constraints and the role of spatial planning in the mitigation of environmental degradation.

Since 2011, he has worked in various spatial planning projects at the “Ion Mincu” University’s Center for Research, Design, Building Evaluation and Consulting, including General Urban Plans for municipalities in Romania, regional studies such as the “Brăila-Galaţi” urban system, „Ploieşti-Bucureşti-Giurgiu” development axis and national studies such as the National Settlement Network – PATN IV. He is currently working in the team assigned for the realization of Bucharest’s dynamic master plan. Since October 2013 he has been a Teaching Assistant at the „Ion Mincu” University in Bucharest and a Phd candidate in Human Geography at the University of Bucharest. His doctoral school research is focused on models of territorial planning in restrictive environments affected by natural hazards.

 

M.Eng. Wendy Laura CÎNȚA

 Project Design and Smart cities consultant

 


Coming from a Landscape education background, largely oriented towards the urban and territorial dimensions of planning, Wendy Cînta advocates for a greener environment by promoting resource’full smart city strategies in scope of opening up new ways of development for the existing and envisioned living environments. Innovative approaches, problem-solving, integrated concepts, resource management comprise few of her skills, whilst her experience relies upon a number of public-private segments of planning. 

Wendy is coordinating the Romanian Smart Cities Platform and activities of the Scita Civita association
She is also a member of The Association of Romanian Landscape Architects (AsoP).

M.Sc. Bogdan RUGINĂ

Urban and regional planning consultant 

 


 Urban and territorial planner, Bogdan is holding a Master Degree in Territorial, Urban, Environmental and Landscape Planning. His great interest in urban and territorial issues, as well as international research around themes as “Design & Neighbourhood, Researching Local Economies, Understanding Cities and Sustainable Communities” and “Urban-Rural Partnership” gave him the input for a major research related to the spatial planning in Europe, focused on “Europeanization of spatial planning in Germany”.

Fabrizio NAPOLEONI

Technology and Business Consultant

 


Senior professional providing consultancy services mainly in business management and in the ICT and Energy fields. He provides consultancy services in designing project initiatives for EU calls in the fields of Intelligent Energy and Eco-Innovation. Fabrizio is an expert in several technology domains of Communication and Digital Content Distribution, technology and business aware of Energy market, sound knowledge of project management methodologies and service management frameworks.
