We are a town and regional planning company created in 2011 which provides European-wide expertise for urban development, policy design and territorial cohesion. We conduct high-level 3academic research, applied studies and the implementation of concrete solutions aiming at a more integrated, participatory, realistic and smart-oriented approach to pressing urban problems, both socio-economic, as well as environmental.
Leveraging on European structural funding for urban innovation, we support urban authorities to meet actual urban problems with the right tools and fitting flagship projects and piloting actions.We design and manage complex planning processes and EU projects in several Flagship European Programmes, developing urban, environmental and territorial studies, with and for cities. We work with an innovative planning approach oriented towards co-designing, in a wide group of stakeholders, the bridge between innovative solutions, local needs and pressing contemporary challenges.

Strategy

We are offering cities and regions a complete service for developing Integrated Urban / Metropolitan / County Strategies, Local Action Plans, thematic plans (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans, Sustainable Energy Action Plans). We achieve the best results by embedding the participatory process for these instruments within the local governance scheme and by assisting administrations to build their capacity for implementing and ensuring funding for the designed flaghship projects.

Smart Cities

We have been involved in flagship Smart City initiatives at European level and have extensive knowledge on adapting planning and governance systems to the 4th industrial revolution. We can offer the same expertise already provided to several research and innovation projects for developing Smart Cities solutions for energy, location based services, indoor tracking and mobility. Our services range from development of local IS3 strategies, desk and field research, business plan development, socio-economic impact assessment of smart city solutions, as well as piloting management.

Study visits

We offer 360˚ experiences of learning, practicing and specialized experience exchange. We have worked with universities and schools to develop such week-long events in Bucharest, Sevilla, Malaga, Vienna, Marseille, Aix en Provence, and with public authorities for specialized urban development visits in Berlin, Bologna, Rome among others. We offer the full spectrum of services: urban walks, real-life practice, design workshops and events, and we can combine any of our products and services into a package that is tailored to your needs.
